along with a mentoring
professional "eye"

Private discussions focus on both completed work and work in progress,
with special attention given to:

  The artist's individual development, addressing both expressive
  and formal issues

  Identifying how the work of art is a part of history as well as how
    it fits into current cultural stylistic characteristics

  Practical problem solving

  How frustration and creative blocks can be used positively for change

  Seeing how personal and professional issues effect the making
    of art

  Consultations may include assessment of the work, making
    appropriate changes, refocusing as needed, setting realistic goals
    and career advice

FEES
$90.00 an hour in studio (additional fee outside local area)

Group critiques offered (inquire for fee schedule)
